British Firework Championships, Plymouth

When: Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 August 2026
Where: Plymouth Hoe and the waterfront

Over two August evenings, leading pyrotechnics teams compete with ten-minute firework displays over Plymouth Sound, watched from the Hoe and the waterfront. It's free to attend, with a fairground and live music ashore to fill the time before dark. Around 45 minutes from West Kellow Yurts by road, across the Tamar. The Hoe is one of the better spots on the south coast for a display like this, with the whole Sound laid out in front of you.
