Tavistock Goose Fair

When: Wednesday 14 October 2026, 9am to 9pm
Where: Throughout Tavistock town centre, west Devon

Tavistock's Goose Fair, the 'Goosey Fair', is a charter fair that has run for centuries, traditionally on the second Wednesday of October. For one day the town centre fills with market stalls, street food and a funfair, from morning until evening. It's a proper old Westcountry day out, around 45 to 55 minutes from West Kellow Yurts by road, over the border into west Devon.
